You may be wrestling with a particularly difficult decision; going through a transition in a relationship, your professional life, or your life circumstance; struggling with depression or anxiety; wondering exactly where you are and how you came to be there; a long-time consumer of therapy who's ready to look at some new issues. Whatever your situation, working with someone you trust who has an objective perspective and training in therapeutic processes can be extremely helpful when you are experiencing challenges in your life.
I love working with people who are curious about their situation, people who are looking for some relief from a historic pattern (or patterns). I see my role as a caring and intentional guide to assist you in your explorations. Therapy can be challenging, frustrating, and at times painful, but ideally it delivers a sense of exhilaration and freedom as you come to new understandings of yourself. I like to think that I bring a warm heart, thoughtful mind, and an appropriate sense of humor to my practice.
One of the greatest predictors of success in therapy is the relationship between client and therapist. I'd welcome the opportunity to explore if there's a fit, and hope to hear from you.
